SD 10 - STATIC DISSIPATIVE SD 10 WITH DUAL RESISTOR: Static Dissipative footwear dissipates static electricity from the wearer’s body into the walking surface to prevent static electricity build-up. It also provides some electrical resistance and offers limited protection to the wearer against electrical shock. Dual Resistor SD is a Warson Brands patented technology (US Patent 6,421,222) that precisely and reliably provides 1 to 10 megohms of electrical resistance, ensuring that the footwear meets the SD 10 standard. These shoes are to be used in areas where the generation of static electricity could harm electrical equipment, circuit board assembly, the manufacture of computer chips, or paint application processes.
